Larry Frank (1929-2010) began his NASCAR career in 1956 as a rookie on the Convertible tour, starting 38 races. He finished with sixteen top tens driving for four different teams. Here's the team he started the season with: the #76 Oldsmobile owned by Joe Holly. Frank started eight races with Holly's team. He finished seventh at Hillsboro and was credited with a tenth place at Fayetteville, falling out late with a blown tire. Photo: Getty Images
