Dutch won 100's of features during his career and was known as King of the "Race of Champions". Dutch won the Race of Champions a record 5 times, 3 times on the tough Langhorne Dirt Mile in 1956, 1960 and 1963. Dutch then went on to win the Race of Champions twice in 1967 and 1968 when Langhorne became an asphalt track. Dutch is the only driver to win the Race of Champions on both dirt and asphalt and the only 5 time winner.
