Jim Romine was the inaugural MARC/ARCA champion in 1953. He won 12 of 22 events in the series' first season in this no. 17 �Fabulous' Hudson Hornet. Even in the earliest days of sanctioned stock car racing, corporate America and local businesses recognized the value and made good use of the space available on Romine's Hudson Hornet.
