From 1958, Bob Welborn taking the checkered flag at Greensboro in Julian Petty's Chevrolet. Rex White was the regular driver for the car this year and won a race at Weaverville. This car won eight poles during the year and Rex White won four consecutive poles in a nine day stretch in July: Busti NY, Toronto, Buffalo, and Rochester.
