Our Story
SlotCar-Fever began as the vision of a dedicated hobbyist who has been shaping the world of custom slot cars and models since the 1960s. Guided by a deep appreciation for detail, the journey started with hand-painted models, often created out of necessity and a desire for unique designs that manufacturers simply did not offer. Over the decades, that passion grew, and with the advent of software and laser printing technology, the possibilities expanded even further. Every project draws upon this heritage, blending time-honored craftsmanship with precision modern methods. SlotCar-Fever's story is one of constant evolution, always striving to deliver historically accurate decals and custom bodies that reflect the excitement and character of the slot car community.
A Heritage of Precision and Passion
Every sheet of decals and every custom body produced by SlotCar-Fever draws on a rich tradition shaped by decades in the hobby. Starting with hand-painted models in the 1960s, the founder fostered the spirit of creativity long before digital artwork or laser printers were available. Today, those roots run deep, as experience and attention to authentic detail combine with digital design and advanced printing. Hobbyists receive products that marry accuracy with artistry, reflecting a genuine devotion to both history and innovation in slot car modeling.
